Build a grid you can afford to keep running
Choose power plants and storage, set electricity prices, and decide when to borrow for the next project. A cheap plant may need expensive fuel. A wind farm’s output changes with the weather. A battery can cover a shortage, if you charged it in time. Plan ahead: a plant under construction cannot help with tonight’s shortage. Check the forecast and leave yourself time to respond.
Start with one day. Then take on a bigger grid.

Try a plan and see what happens
Electrify uses one representative day per month. It’s a game about energy tradeoffs, not a forecast of a real project’s costs or reliability.
